Prime Minister’s Office and Sokoine University of Agriculture through SACIDS Foundation for One Health jointly organized a requirements Gathering Workshop which was held at the Sunset Hotel in Iringa Region from 12th – 13th April 2022. The requirements gathered will be used to support development of a One Health digital form to strengthen coordination of early detection and response to Public, Animal and Environmental Health Events by the One Health Coordination Desk at the Prime Minister’s Office.
The workshop adopted the Epi-Hack approach whereby a mixture of IT experts and Epidemiologists from different government ministries came together to identify user challenges, proposed solutions and agreed on requirements of the One Health digital platform and designed prototypes.
